Investment history

Walpe was founded in 1963 but its active operating phase started in 1993. In the last twenty years, Walpe has had two specific investment strategies.

For eleven years from 1995 to 2006 investments were focused in the newly liberated Baltic States after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

During the next ten years from 2006 to 2016, Walpe shifted its focus towards Asia to benefit from the economic rise of China and the ASEAN countries.

Currently, we have a balanced investment approach between different geographic areas.
